Change Product Image
📌 In Shopify, if variant options have images assigned, the theme can automatically detect and switch to the corresponding image when the customer selects different variants.
If you want the app-created options to trigger the same image-switching behavior, you can use this feature to set it up. (Advance Plan Feature)
⭐ To use this feature, your theme must meet the following requirement: Your product page must include thumbnail images.
If your theme does not show thumbnails, check whether this option can be enabled in the theme settings, or ask the theme developer if thumbnails can be displayed.
🔧 Settings
🟢 Enable Change product image
Edit the option that requires this feature.
Enable “Change Product Image on Option Selection” for the option.
📤 Upload Product Images
Go to the product editor in Shopify admin.
Upload the images you want to link to options.
🧷 Link Option Value to Product Images
In the Shopify admin product editor, click a product image you uploaded and set its Alt text to match the corresponding option value to create the link.
